Hammocks have been a longtime place of rest dating back before Christopher Columbus brought them back home with him to Europe.  We hope that just as Columbus valued the hammock highly and brought them home to present to his queen, you too will bring home a hammock.

At HammockShoppe.com we offer a variety of hammocks.  We are proud to offer our customer one of the best quality hammocks on the market to date, the Original Pawleys Island Rope Hammock dates back to the late 1880’s when its founder, Captain Josh Ward decided that his hot, uncomfortable, sleepless night had to come to an end.  He diligently worked at perfecting a rope hammock that was sturdy and didn’t have knots in the bed of the hammock.  He used a spreader bar to keep the hammock spread open of greater comfort.  So good was his design that The Original Rope Hammock hasn’t changed much with the exception of better quality and softer rope.  Now available in four different sizes: single, large, deluxe, and presidential.  Comfort for one or some!

The Original Pawleys Island Hammock also makes comfortable soft quilted hammocks and pillows.  We offer a nice assortment of colors and sizes.  Pawleys Island Quilted Hammocks feature DuraCord acrylic fabrics.  Soft fabrics layered over a bed of soft polyester batting.  Unmatched comfort and style, all manufactured here in the USA!

We know that not everyone wants to spend a lot on an outdoor hammock, so we carry Castaway rope and quilted hammocks.  While they are affordable for most budgets, they are not cheap in quality.  Rope hammocks are available in cotton or polyester rope with a wood spreader bar.  The quilted hammocks feature nice stripe fabrics with a poly batting for additional comfort.  Check out our large assortment of Castaway Hammocks!

Not looking for a hammock with a spreader bar?  Just want to roll it up and take it with you?  Look no further.  We have Mayan style hammocks imported from the Mayan villages in Mexico.  Our Mayan Hammocks are made of soft cotton or nylon rope, available in a beautiful variety of colors.  Some made for an individual or big enough to fit a family.  Also, available are our beautiful Brazilian style hammocks with hand crochet valances.  Our hammocks have unmatched beauty and traditional hand-craftsmanship.

Sunbrella is the name in outdoor fabrics. Check out our Sunbrella Outdoor Curtains.  We offer a vast assortment of colors and four sizes. Sunbrella curtains are made from solution-dyed acrylic blends that are design for outdoor use.  Lightweight yet heavy-duty, these curtains resist staining, fading, rot, and mildew.
